Q: Why is Rocky Mountain Collision rebranding to New West Truck Centres Body Shop?
A: Last October, New West Truck Centres purchased Dunlop Truck Centres, which included Rocky Mountain Collision. We’re ready to rebrand the Dunlop locations to create a more comprehensive network of New West Truck Centres dealerships, collision centres and body shops across Alberta and interior BC.
Q: What are the benefits of this change?
A: This move offers more choices by bringing together the Freightliner and Western Star brands, providing greater access to parts and service options across Western Canada, and a broader team of highly skilled team members and technicians with years of experience.
Q: What’s changing at this location?
A: The good news is that while we will rebrand as a New West Truck Centres Body Shop, everything you know and love about Rocky Mountain Collision remains the same! Our experienced technicians will continue to provide exceptional repairs and customer service for all your automotive and heavy-duty truck collision repair needs.
Q: Will the hours of operation be the same?
A: Yes, the hours will remain the same (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
Q: Will the staff be changing?
A: We’ve invited them to stay on as part of the New West team to ensure continuity and provide the exceptional service you've come to expect.
Billing, Invoices & Financing
Q: What happens to my existing account? Will it transfer over?
A: Yes, your account will transfer over to New West Truck Centres. You do not need to re-apply or fill out any additional paperwork at this time.
Q: Will my credit limit change with the transition?
A: Your existing credit limit will be seamlessly transferred to New West Truck Centres, and there’s no need for you to re-apply or fill out any additional paperwork at this time.
Q: Will my financing terms change?
A: New West Truck Centres will continue to honor your existing financing terms, so there's no need for you to re-apply or complete any additional paperwork at this time.
Q: Will invoicing and payment be changed?
A: Invoices will continue to be issued and paid under Rocky Mountain Collision until November 1, 2024. After that, they will be issued and paid to New West Truck Centres (BC) Inc.
Q: Will I still be able to pay by cheque?
A: Yes, Please mail all cheques to our Calgary main office at 5925 79 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 5K3. As of November 1, 2024, all cheques will only be accepted at this location. Cheques should be made out to New West Truck Centres (BC) Inc.
Q: Who do I contact for billing or financing questions?

Q: How do I apply for new credit or financing?
A: New credit or account applications will go through New West Truck Centres (BC) Inc. Our Accounts Receivable department is available to assist you. Services & Repairs
Q: How do I book a service or get a quote?
A: For now, call our main line at (778) 517 8200.
Q: Are you still handling insurance work?
A: Yes, nothing has changed. We will still work with insurance companies to repair collision damages and quickly get you back on the road.
Q: What will happen to my active insurance claim?
A: All active insurance claims will be processed as scheduled and will automatically transition to New West Truck Centres Body Shop starting November 1st.
Q: Will there still be courtesy cars?
A: Yes, courtesy cars are available on a first-in, first-out basis. There are several other scenarios we can help with in the event our vehicles are otherwise engaged. Please contact either Jason or Kelsie in the Body Shop for more details (778) 517-8200.
